IT Sr. Business Analyst

• Works with end users to identify and resolve issues; end user assistance, business process, system configuration, user account setup and other system issues.
• Gathers and analyzes information in support of business cases, processes, improvements, proposed projects, and system requirements.
• Generates and compiles reports based on findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.
• Works with end users to define requirements and system goals, identifies and resolves system issues.
• Assists with prototyping new configurations and applications to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow.
• Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in JDE E1.
• Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of system analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
• Provides orientation and training to end user for all modified and new systems.
• Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end user reviews, for modified and new systems including post-implementation support.
• Conducts research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.  

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years related experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1)
• Desired JD Edwards module and related application experience:
  • General Accounting
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Multi-Currency
  • Job Cost
  • Procurement
  • Fixed Assets and Equipment
  • DAS (Reports Now) report writing or other similar report writing tools
  • Knowledge or familiarity of SQL queries
  • Experience researching ESU’s and new functionality provided by Oracle
