Overview

Are you a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills? As a Document Control Specialist, you will oversee the processing and reproduction of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and timely release. This position will lean more to a Technical Writing role and will be working in the Environmental Department. Currently in the later stages of the project. Project is starting to see an influx of letters or claims to the project. Currently receiving 3-4 letters a day right now. This person will be responsible to answer with a formal letter. This position will require employee to go back and research claimes being sent and also previous stages of project.

What you will be doing

 

  • Looking for candidates with an environmental background but also strong writing skills to answer letters being sent to project
  • Environmental experience will help with researching claims being sent it and previous project stages
  • Writing skills will help candidate draft letter and understand structure of responses
  • Will be working with Environmental manager to help craft letters and responses. 
  • Will be in the office 5 days a week, some flexibility with either in office or hours but will be working 40 hours a week.
  • Completes and processes all incoming and outgoing documents in the document control database, including electronic logging, scanning, distribution and storage needs.
  • Maintains and distributes daily Project Read Files.
  • Files and stores physical documents, including paper, manuals, books, photos, videos, and digital media in the project files.
  • Establishes and maintains a listing of all materials stored in the Project Library.
  • Maintains project File Index, files and library.

What we are looking for

  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a related field required.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Primavera Contract Manager
