• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment in the field, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and other machinery.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on-site and carry out necessary repairs or part replacements.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment systems to meet operational and manufacturer specifications.
• Accurately document service work, inspections, and repairs performed.
• Stay current on company safety practices, procedures, and values.
• Carry out additional duties or emergency repairs as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with hand tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Previous field and shop experience working on Caterpillar, John Deere, or similar heavy equipment is highly valued.
• Solid background in construction equipment repair and maintenance, with a passion for keeping machines running at peak performance.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as compression gauges, ammeters, and voltmeters to accurately assess and troubleshoot engine and system issues.
