What you will be doing

  • Evaluates, tracks and reports insurance claims daily.  Accurately documents and maintains file records to ensure compliant and timely responses and resolutions.
  • Submits monthly litigation reports to legal counsel to ensure correct status and tracking of litigated claims management.
  • Identifies, evaluates and approves General Liability Recovery opportunities for the company. Manages the recovery process to ensure accurate and timely response and resolution.
  • Reviews and submits monthly loss run reports to insurance carriers and manager monthly. 
  • Reviews and approves company cost coding for insurance invoices to be paid monthly. Reconciles insurance invoicing for accuracy and resolves inconsistencies.
  • Evaluates, tracks, and reports safety reports daily; assists in updating EHS department’s policies and procedures when necessary per management’s directions.
  • Maintains OSHA documentation and logs monthly to ensure annual safety reporting is submitted accurately and to compliance standards.
  • Coordinates and conducts weekly conference calls regarding post-accident, bid review committee, safety and other topics.
  • Responsible for monitoring subcontractor/vendor COI and surety bond compliance. 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field required.
  • 1+ years related experience required.
  • Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) highly preferred.
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written and digital presentation and communication skills.
  • General knowledge of construction industry and corporate insurance processes.
