What you will be doing

  • Coordinate between project engineering team and utility partners to mark, track, relocate and approve permits on the project site and ensure compliance with agency regulations and contract specifications.
  • Coordinate subcontractor and utility partner work methods, schedule and crews.
  • Review shop drawings, design specifications, project layout and project data to ensure quality and contract specification compliance.
  • Update project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting.
  • Prepare and manages a three-week work plan. Notifies engineering and project management of any significant schedule changes and develops solutions to mitigate delays and cost.
  • Initiate and tracks all change orders and invoicing regarding the utility transfer, monitoring, and relocation or permitting required on the project to ensure accurate cost control and billing information.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field required.
  • 15+ years construction utility experience required.
  • Advanced planning and scheduling skills required.
  • Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices.
  • Able to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of design build and other alternative build techniques.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods and cost coding.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others.

USD $200,000.00/Yr.
