Senior Survey Manager

As a Survey Manager, you who will oversee survey teams of one or more project sites, providing technical input regarding engineering standards, specifications, design instructions and land mapping. • Provides work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff
• Ensures that crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
• Checks as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.
• Provides topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
• Assists with conducting quantity calculations as required.
• Monitors and maintains the condition and calibration of surveying equipment.
• Coordinates survey activities with the assigned engineer and superintendents to meet the construction requirements.
• Manages survey department resources and department assigned budget.

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geometrics or related field preferred.
• 15+ years’ experience in survey or land mapping required on Large Heavy Civil projects $500m+, preffered Highway projects.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Expert knowledge of land mapping and technical survey instrument techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
